Muzzy: My Story Synopsis
Brought up at a pre-Roman Abramovich Chelsea, Muzzy’s was a harsh awakening to the reality of football, a future that might have been so different had a secret contract not have saved him from a possible footballing scrapheap. He ended up at Leicester City Football Club and was one of the leading lights in their resurgence in the Premier League in the late 1990s and to winning the League Cup twice, in 1997 and 2000. He also played international football for Turkey, playing in the World Cup Semi-final against Brazil in 2002.
