Walk or Cycle: Be green if you can! We are located on the High Street in the South Leicestershire village of Kibworth, within easy strolling distance of the local neighbourhoods. If you would like to come on your bike (to help carry all those books home), you can rest it safely away from the street at the Courtyard Entrance.
Visiting Daker Books
Bus: Hop on the X3 or X7 travelling north from Market Harborough, or south from Leicester. Alight at ‘The Square’ in Kibworth (which is really a little roundabout) and walk down the high street for just a few seconds. We’re on the right: look for the Kibworth Books sign. Enter from the high street and walk through the main bookshop to get to The Daker Room, or use the Courtyard Entrance around the corner to get into The Children’s Room, which leads right into Daker Books.
Parking: All parking in Kibworth is unlimited and free of charge: the Old Grammar School Hall Shopper’s Car Park is one turn off the High Street and there are parking bays right opposite the bookshop. The Co-op car park is 150 metres away and is also accommodating of bookshop visitors.
Accessibility: The bookshop is housed in an old Barn: the four steps from the High Street entrance are quite steep, but there are just two small steps in from the Courtyard Entrance around the corner. We can gladly help anyone who needs a gentle hand negotiating these steps. All the books are on one level.
