The dust jacket is in good condition, but has an open tear to the top rear of the spine, and closed tears to the top front of the spine and small closed tears to the base of the spine. The dust jacket is slight faded and has general wear for its age. The boards are in very good condition, in brown cloth with gilt lettering. The contents are in very good condition, with some slight foxing to the page edges at the top.

This edition is signed by a previous owner, Lt-Corporal C. Rowland and there’s a reference to p.302, where the owner, who was then a captain, is shown in the records (see pictures for details).
