A hardback first edition with leather boards in good condition. Contains an inscription from ‘Robert Woodward, 1858’ on a prelim page and a pencil illustration of a gentleman in period dress inside the back cover. Light scuffs on the top and bottom of the spine and corners slightly bumped, and the page edges tanned, otherwise in excellent condition for a book of this age.
